What do you appreciate most about Thomas?
His optimism! He never loses courage, never holds a grudge, and always finds a way forward.

And what annoys you about him?
His boundless motivation. He’s a real overachiever, which can be very annoying. And then there are a few other annoying traits…

What path have you taken professionally?
I studied at the Zurich School for Interpreting (now ZHAW). After a few years in a tech company, I became a freelance translator specializing in tech and marketing. I sometimes edit marketing texts for ti&m – like this interview.

How do you support ti&m as a board member?
I make sure there’s a family succession plan in place – even in a worst-case scenario – and I criticize Thomas whenever and wherever I feel like it, because it’s good for him! I also bring common sense and emotional intelligence to the board.

What do you see as ti&m’s biggest challenges in the near future?
Navigating the tough market – demand has cooled significantly – and managing our innovation costs more efficiently.

What do you enjoy most at ti&m?
I love our cool events, the great team spirit, the direct communication, and the short decision paths. But most of all, I love the courage to walk our own path for the past 20 years.

When will Thomas step down as CEO?
He promised me he’d do that in five years. But I don’t believe him. He loves his job too much – I think he wants to keep going for another ten years.

And after that? World trip? Golf club membership?
Immersive travel: three months in southern France, three months in Italy or Spain, and a few weeks in Europe’s capital cities. That’s how I picture and wish for our retirement.
